Drop bracket and Ball Joint spacer pics.

Anyone have any pics of a 86-88 with a 4 inch drop bracket and ball joint spacers? Im thinking of doing that to my 87 just trying to get some ideas. Possibly a 32-33 inch tire. Any info would be awesome, lift brand, gears, tire size, etc.

Might try SDORI's site, as I think Frank has a 4" bracket lift and spacers on his 2nd gen:

Although he only installed them for added travel and backed off his torsion bars and so saw no net lift with the spacers:

OMG. You don't even need BJ spacers to clear 33 12.50's technically, let alone a 4" bracket lift. Stupid lift sites telling people to slap a 4" kit on a truck to fit 33's should be considered false advertisement.

A little trimming and/or hammering on the pinch welds on the fender, a fw cranks on the torsion bars, the proper backspacing on the wheels and maybe a tweak of the valence support brackets and your golden.

4" bracket lift will clear 35's EASY.

With that said, the ride is a tad harsh and you loose some down travel by cranking the torsions to fit the 33's. Use the ball joint spacers if you mind a harsh ride. But by no means do you have to spend $800+ on a lift to clear 33'.

31's will fit with absolutely no modifications whatsoever.
