Crossover-Hi steer question

So I went to have the steering relay rod replaced on the 50N recall, and got a call later in the day that they did not have tie rods in stock and therefore could not fix my truck (luckily they had not started). I am in the process of trying to source some tie rods...however, would it be possible to run Marlin's hi-steer crossover steering kit on my stock 1993 pickup?

Technically, you already have hi-steer since the tie rods are higher than the springs (torsion bars). LOL

Buy them at Napa and back charge the dealer.

Thanks TC-that might be an option. Normally I would just wait for them to come in (and I still may) but I am moving from maine to southeast Alaska and I want the truck to be ready to go that far...

Contact someone who has done a SAS, they'll have the parts laying around.
