I like the looks of this coil setup better - there are 2 options in this the one at the bottom looks way easy.

im going to get a $120 mig wielder and try that coil spring thing. I already have a grinder

 

do the coil spring I submitted from the same website, and no welding required. if you use the TJ spring it is super simple

 

I know what ur gettin at, im 16 too and wanted the same thing.

-Id do the routine tune up (make sure u can drive it daily)
-Get some wheels and tires 31's 32's (some good at's or mt's if u want)
-Set of ball joint spacers 1'' or 1.5'' (think i paid like $110 for mine)
-If not that crank ur t bar about an 1'' (rides a little rougher)
-Either get some stock non saggy springs or get lift shackles, to how ever much u need to level it to the front (i made my shackles, its just steel plate = free, or there only like $80 or somthin at 4crawler)
....and i think u would come out pleazed or pretty close

 

and since your 16 and just starting to wheel, driving as fast as u can up a hill isnt always the best way to get up there. study the terrain pick a line all the way to the top and try to stick to the line. just taking off without any idea what your getting yourself and your rig into could turnout very bad for a newb wheeler. I don't think any mig welder for $120 is going to do anything for you, if you are talking about a chicago electric or whatever, its not going to have the power to do any kind of welding on your truck other than maybe sheet metal, if you don't have a lot for a welder than I suggest learning to stick weld, it can be cheap and will do much better than a $120 mig welder, you can even stick weld with just batteries, jumper cables and some rods.
