BJ spacers on craigslist, anyone try them?

There's a guy down in oregon that makes Bj spacers and diff drop kits for yota's. Spacers are only $10 each and 1/2" thick, says you can stack up to three and that each one gives about an inch of lift. Anyone used his products? Price is right and when I spoke with him on the phone he seemed like an inteligent guy.
I'd post a link but I'm at work and can't access craigslist!
Any info would be appreciated.

Don't worry bout the link, it's been posted Numorous times on here. Save you money spend a little more for the real thing and save yourself some headaches down the road.

P.S. that guy should be sued for stealing someone else's design and providing a product that is potentially dangerous. .

Ok, whats wrong with them if you dont mind me asking? I didn't figure there would be much to it other than a couple holes in a block of metal.

Thanks for the link, I had searched, but only in this forum. So, assuming I'm only using one(not stacking) and have my buddy powder coat it so it wont rust, is there any other down side I'm not seeing?

1/2" spacer isn't gonna do diddly squat. Still have to buy hardware too in which the fatbobs / SDORI spacers already come with.

Thanks for the help Xtreme and Wabbit. I ordered a set from FatBobs on Ebay for $75 shipped that came with diff and sway drops and all new hardware. Putting them in tomorrow, then down for an alignment.
