What "aftermarket arms" do you have ?

Also, this is not offroad tech. This has to do with your specific vehicle and it's suspension/ alginment.

I searched all over the a-arms and I can't find any name or markings as to what company made them. All I know is they were on there when I got the truck as well as the bj spacer kit. They are red in color.

they're rancho control arms. and they should have nothing to do with effecting your alignment. what kind of condition are your tie rods and idler arm?

Might also try another alignment shop. Sometimes the big chain places with the fancy computers take one look at a lifted truck and either say it can't be aligned or if one little thing is out of spec they throw their hands up. A good alignment guy can work with what he has and adjust the rest of the settings to make it work.

My VW has one alignment spec a little out of range, but the shop that did the alignment compensated for that and it has been fine for the last 9 years, drives perfectly straight, no uneven tire wear, etc.

That may be the brand lift you have.

And I agree with 4Cralwer. Find a different alignment shop. I shy away from the chain places because they want to get it back to what their book says is stock specs. My junk is lifted and it ain't goin back to stock specs. A good alingment guy knows how to align it so the tires will wear properly and uniformly.

I work at a shop where we do alignments and as someone said make sure your tie rods and idler arms and ball joints are all good. Half the people that come in I will not align their stuff because of worn out parts. once it is all fixed there should be no problem geting it all within spec. you can do this at home insted of takeing it somewhere that might not be conserened with checking.
