What brand of lift is this?

Here is a Rancho Upper Control Arm lift. Some people had problems breaking the arms but a few people liked it for the travel you could get out of a stock width truck. Seams like it might be a good deal if anybody is interested.

I saw that one too. I think Mak92 was one of many to get in a discussion about that type of lift. Maybe check Mak's build up thread????

I'm 99% sure it's a rancho lift.

Bleeder would know for sure.

ding, ding ding, scuba wins the prize!! Yep, that there ladies and folks is a Rancho sus. lift! They came out after trailmaster produced theirs and just before pro comp's stage 1 and 2. Now if you bought the whole kit, it included stronger (thicker) torsion bars, full replacement rear springs w/neoprene bushings, and their traction control bars for the rear. The "complete" kit was set up so you could run dual shocks all around(rancho's, of course!).

Conclusion. Buy the lift and add some balljoint spacers for it. Relax torsion bars. iSearch

almost forgot, the kit also came with longer and stronger tie rod adjusting sleeves. You will need those.

Didn't Rancho have issues with the control arms breaking?

So does anybody have pictures of where these break at? Maybe they can just be reinforced?

It is a Rancho lift... it will NOT fit if you have a V6. you also need EVERY SINGLE PART of the lift for it to GIVE lift... if you're missing one piece, it will not work.

and you can reinforce the arms, yes... but the really only will break if you rock crawl or jump it... that or have like 35" + tires on it...

Yes you can but if I remember correctly, these arms are made out of chromoly and not carbon steel so you have to know what you are doing when welding chromoly. You are supposed to TIG weld chromoly but people have MIG welded it too. Search Google and you will find some info on it.

Why would this get moved? It should still be in the craigslist section so somebody who might want it can see it and have the chance to buy it. And now they know what it is and the faults because of the discussion.
