If youre getting a lunchbox locker for the back, which is an 8", there are two kinds, the V6 diff or the 4cyl diff. The V6 is a 4 pinion, the 4 cyl is a 2 pinion.

Can I just buy the lock right for the rear or do I have to buy some other stuff with it?

you can buy just the lockright and put it in.. you will need some rear diff lube though and some silicone or a rear diff gasket.

Detroit full locker in the rear, don't waste money on the limited slip. Leave it open or get a real locker.
