Aussie locker??

hey guys i'm pretty new to the toyota world and i just recently got a 1985 toyota pickup 2.4L 4 cyl 5 spd manual with the 22r carb motor. Craigslist find ($900)!!! i will mainly use the truck for a little daily driving and mostly as a hunting/ not extreme 4wheeling rig. i decided i want to go with a lunch box style locker just out of price and the ease of installation. i think ive decided on just putting a locker in the front for now. i plan on doing a locker in the rear later as soon as the funds are available.. ha. ive been doing some research and i cant find a part number for the aussie locker i need. are the front and rearend the same size in these trucks? and do any of you guys have a part number for me? thanks!

Install it in the rear. Having a locker up front especially one you may need 4WD on a Daily driver.

^^ this. Install it in the rear first. You'd be surprised how little you need 4wd if you haven't had a vehicle with a locker before.

Another idea is lock the rear 1st, then later you can upgrade to a V6 3rd for the rear lock it, then install the original rear 3rd in the front. Front and rear lockers FTW

I have an Aussie in the rear of my 94 and it really isn't much of a bother on the street. Put it in the rear!
