Your life at YT will be much easier if you will search a bit first, then ask questions.

lol. He posted this in newbie tech. A 3.0 to 3.4 swap is not newbie tech. Like Brian said, searching is your friend. Its a little tough to find things at first, but things are categorized for a reason. But I'm sure you won't want me to post up what I find if I enter "3.4 swap" in the search box, let alone just flat out go find the toyota engine swap area.

Searching on your phone is harder, but still easily doable. These guys are trying, in a nice way, to tell you to search, thus the reason I moved your post to newbie tech. It's not the information that is newbie, but the sheer fact you ask these questions illuminates that you have not searched.
All your questions are relative to who answers them.
3.0 is a crap motor IMO. 3.4 swap is definitely worth it.
4.3 is a good motor but I don't like bastard Toyotas.
Please do some searching or I'm afraid the natives are going to be less than unkind to your redundant questions, even in newbie tech, or just ignore them altogether.

Read then reread all of the threads in that link. Then when you think you have a grasp of everything, whip out a note pad and take notes of what parts you'll need. What steps you need to take. Before you do anything, CALL AROUND AND PRICE OUT YOUR PARTS LIST! If you go the route of any motor swap, get a COMPLETE DONOR rig. It will save you lots and lots of headache and leg work later.
