No matter how much I bleed the brakes or the master cylinder on my '89 4Runner it still pumps air at the left rear bleeder and at the line closest to the fluid reservoir. The line furthest from the reservoir on the mc pushes fluid like a champ. I can't figure this out, any ideas?

 

Recently replaced the master cylinder and not correctly bench bleed it?
How are you bleeding your brakes? Including the LSPV(thing with the long rod on rear axle)?

 

I didn't replace the MC because the one line furthest from the reservoir pumps fluid like a champ even though the line closest to the reservoir on the MC pumps fluid and air. Other than that I have bled all lines including the LSPV in the correct order. Is it as simpe as an MC replacement?

 

Just curious have you replaced any of the lines??

I have seen either a bad flare or a cross threaded fitting be able to suck air but the fluid loss is so small it is hard to notice.

What line near the Master Cylinder are you talking about???

you bleed the the calipers or wheel cylinders if you have rear drums and the LSPV all though all those I tried to bleed the bleeder would not budge and I ended up replacing the valve. With new ones
