'94 4Runner engine swap

Im new to Forum sites and to engine swaping. I have a 1994 SR5 4Runner with some engine problems. Overheating, grey smoke, not hot air, and I've had to flush my radiator and cooling system 3x in less than a year because it gets sludge in it. What years and motors can I look for to fit my truck? Remember Im new to this sort of thing, so please talk to me like a child. LOL

S E A R C H. There are several options depending on how deep your pockets are, and what you are wanting to do with your vehicle.

First decide if your 4Runner is a daily driver or other. Then go from there.

Yea I'm slowly figuring that out. It is a daily driver but I would like more power. I'm just curious as to what years and models match up to mine with out much modifying.

Nobody even know what you have currently...lots of different choices depending on what set-up you currently have.

Yea, search and read up on all the swaps. Do your homework then ask questions...
