90 4 runner a.d.d hub conversion help

I have a 90 runner and i am about to change out my add hubs for manual asian hubs they are cleaned greased and ready to go. i plan on locking the acuator fork in place so it is always in 4 wheel drive. my question is am i going to lose all the oil out of the diff when i remove the 4 bolt auactor fork? i just recently change over to redline oil an went from 18 to 22 mpg. i want to know if i am going to need 4 more quarts that stuff aint cheep also if you know of any good build threads on second gen add diff stuff please let me know. thanks and yes i have searched this for a wile

You'll lose about 1/4-1/2 of it. If you do it right, you will be able to re-use it. I didnt since I did this mod a week after I bought the rig and I didnt know the last time the fluid was changed.

i changeed from regular oil to red line full synthedic that would be the motor front diff trany t case and rear diff now i get 20 mpg. it's simple realy before it was 18

the motor and trany can spin up much easer therefor more power!!!!!!!!!!

0h did i say 22 i ment 20. it all city driving and i have a hard time keeping my foot off the skinny pedal!
