Tons and Tons and Tons. There is a kit for it.

What's involved?

Take out your old motor, put in the new one. Get the kit from ORS and its pretty easy, do it yourself for more challange.

A quick search will give you all the answers you need.

Its just as hard as any swap but my suggestions is to buy the complete kit from ors and the swap will be easier

I have to disagree, BA23. This is a very simple swap, with no real fabrication issues, like, say a SBC conversion. The 3.4 is almost entirely a bolt up conversion (mechanically.) The only big issues revolve around converting the electronics, and fabbing the exhaust - issues that you would have with any conversion.

The 3.4 is not that much more complicated than doing a straight up replacement of the 3.0 would be. It makes for a very nice upgrade for the older trucks and 4runners!

To the OP - just take a look at the engine swap section, there's a section specifically for the 3.4 conversion.

Agreed. It's not a very hard swap. It takes time and patience...and a buttload of money. But it's a very cool swap once it's done. I have just over 17500 kms on mine and love it.
