265/75/16 Mud Terrains?

Will I have issues with a stock 98runner 4x4? The muds are a lot beefier, and I know that the A/T tires will work, but any experience with M/T tires this size on stock? Thanks!

you'll be fine. May rub ever so slightly but we're talking very slightly.

Good question because the diameter of the LT265/75/16 BFG M/T is 31.9 inches, while the BFG A/T KO is 31.7 inches, according to charts available in PDF format on BFG's website. Good Times, do you mean your M/T's rub "ever so slightly" while you are off-roading or just daily driving? Have you tried your M/T's with a front wheel at full stuff while turning? Can you tell where they rub? I frequently run moderate trails, and I am considering fitting BFG 265/75/16 M/T's to a stock 2000 4Runner next spring, so like Gavin77 I would appreciate any input.

ever so slightly is in full compression / full lock (turning). the likelihood that you'll get to that point is rare. do a quick search for members in the 3rd gen section running those and I'm sure they'll all agree you'll be fine stock. the 265/75 will just fill out the fender and make it look better than the stock 265/70.

good luck

I had the ATs in the 265/75 flavor on stock suspension and did not rub.

265/75/16 is the way to go with no lift.

I was running 265/75/16 Wrangler MTR's for a while and i never rubbed unless i hit a rather large bump at full lock. Never rubbed daily driving at full lock even with the truck full. Mounted on a 16x8 with 2" backspacing i believe. Looked nice, ran nice, wore like ÅÅÅÅ. Shouldnt be a problem...

I have 265/75/R16Toyo MT's on my 00 taco and they rubbed a bit. It was more annoying than anything and happened more often when turning right. A 3in lift took care of it.

Will 265/75/16 BFG A/T rub on a stock 4Runnner with stock running boards?

I've got 265/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers on '01 Sequoia wheels on my '91 4Runner. No lift, no rubbing!
