Okay while checking out eBay I found this

Is this a bunch of Bull Crap? What does it do, trick your engine into dumping more fuel? Will this just ruin my mpgs? anyone buy this yet? If no I might by it and do a review but I don't want to ruin my new runner.

haha, yeah they are a joke, some might actually do something, but all they do usually is stick a resistor or something in line with a sensor to make the ecu think it needs to shoot some more gas

Be sure to get the Tornado too. They work great together.

 

The real version of this mod can be found in the tech section under Dr. Z's ECT mod. I believe these resistors drop the IAT that the MAF sees tricking it into dumping more fuel. I've done the ECT mod which taps into your Coolant Temp Sensor (Engine Coolant Temp...ECT) and does essentially the same thing only on a more pronounced scale.

it is a joke same as the tornado ect. check out Consumer Reports on all things like that also the EPA has a page that lists all things they have tested out
