zuk mod, and spring price...

So I am going to do the zuk mod for springs in the back.
I am looking around for springs/prices on I get on Escam, I mean bay.
I find some springs and start putting in names. After putting in AFCO
, I find a dude out of Monmouth Ill., selling these real cheap. He has a very
wide variety of springs he is selling, some new, most are lightly used.
I am picking up a pair of springs from him for 30 bucks!!!! Sweet price,
and they are 12inchers by 150; he is going to try to find some 100's or 125's, but if not, I'll get the 150's.
just wanted to pass that price along, don't know if that price applies to longer/heavier rated springs though, but you can certainly ask him.

this guy;

Those springs are are a little wide in my opnion. When I did this mod, I went with the springs Zuk reccommends from his website. They are a little more, but they are narrower and won't interfere with any other systems on your truck (brakes). Also, you can get them in a wide variety of heights and lb ratings. Here is the link

...hmmm the springs are 2.5 inches in diameter; I thought this was the ideal?

that pic that he uses, if you are going by that, is just an example pic of many springs,
so it may be bigger springs, than what you are thinking of...

I just took some Mustang rear springs and cut them to 10". They fit over the stock bumpstop and I've run these for a while with no issues. They make a little noise sometimes but the ride is great! Best of all they were free!

I just used springs out of an 82-86 Supra. I cut one coil off, and jammed them on top of the bump stops. Still workig a year later. Price: Free.
