Got my Bud on

BudBuilt that is. I bought a complete parts truck a while back and it had the budbuilt cross member on it. I sandblasted it and and painted it red. I also took the skid pan off the gas tank to get some small rocks out and there was a little bit of rust on it. After I stripped it, there was a very small amount of rust around each hole, like a snowflake design. I guess it is from the heat when they drilled the holes in it. So I blasted it too and painted it red to match the cross member. I called budbuilt to get some of the short allen head bolts that were stuck and they sent them to me free with some stickers. Super nice guys.

I paid $240 for a complete non running SR5 4runner. A new cross member cost more than the whole truck.

I know, spray painting the stock skid plate is about as useful as putting nail polish over an aluminum can... doesn't absolutely nothing for it, but damn it looks good when it's done! lol, for a little bit anyway
