working on a custom, need some help

Hey 1st time post. Long time Yota Lover. Well my 1992 toyota pickup truck just got a motor swap after a bent rod bearing, scared piston sleeve, blown head gasket and a million other things from offroading now she has all new motor and parts under the hood. I'm taking her low slow and to the floor. Lowrider seems the way to go. Already got the low part figured out. But I wana replace the bench seat with two buckets so I can get my sub in the center. Is it possible to pull it out and replace it with 4 runner buckets of the same year? and I wana put rims on her just to get that sexy black look i'm going for. Any recommendations for rims and lopro tires that will fit?

"B" thanks

I do keep my eye on craigslist, but as i had learned in the past not every 5 lug rim will fit my truck. Isn't there a specific size or offset?

I think some stock yota rims converted to either Chevy style rally rims would look really cool or just full out moon look would be cool as well. A set of these would also be really bad ass not sure of the bolt pattern but damn these would look bad ass on a Toy.

I agree with olharleyman, dressing-up stock steel wheels as rally wheels would be cool ..... I'd like to do it myself ...... has anyone ever seen this done? I've seen trim rings chrome trim rings for sale ... but have yet to run across a compatible hub cap.

I've searched the internet and found that stock 2wd wheels from 1969 to 1985 have a 5 X 114.3mm (5 x 4.5 in) bolt pattern, a 67.1mm center bore, and an offset between 15 to 35 mm.

I ran across some Toyota 2003 16" steel wheels with caps on eBay once .... but the center bore is to small.

Some of the older Ford Ranger trucks had simple steel wheels with chrome center caps .... Like this:

.... the center cap makes all the difference in the world. Add some trim rings and it could look nice.

Photo of trim rings, no caps:

Unless you're using a 6" sub, you're not going to get it between the seats even if you go buckets. even then, you'll have to fab an enclosure with compound curves and such. If you're going to get that creative, you might as well fab enclosures and put 8" or 10" under (or even behind) the seats.
