im ordering a front end kit (outer tie rods, inner tie rods, idler arm and pitman arm) the pitman in the pic looks straight and mine looks like it has a drop on it, does a 4" lift have a drop pitman arm? or is it just the wrong pitman in the pic? thanks

 

i would think you need the bent pitman arm to clear the frame for any lift when you're leaving the steering box in the stock location.

 

thats what im figuring but i went to the superlift site and doesent say that the 4-5" lift comes with one..

 

Nope. A 4" bracket lift drops everything down and keeps the steering in the same location as stock. No drop pittman arm is required.

On a side note, are you buying the armcan set off ebay?

If so, I didn't have such great luck with it... At least the TRE's in the kit are crap anyway.

 

i have a 94 with 33's and a superlift complete 4'' suspension lift im runnin stock steering components drag link pitman arm with no issues. the kit does not come with one but im not sure if u need one with any kind of body lift
