windshield wiper fuid

Just curious if anyone else has experienced this issue.

My windshield wiper fluid is not spraying on the wind screen. You can hear the pump working. I know the pump and the electrical is fine. I tried cleaning the nozzles and nothing. I disconnected the fluid hose to see if it would drip out the hose when activated and nothing.
Is there anything else I can try before running all-new fluid hose?

Thanks

Check for debris in the pump or tank, try closer to the pump it's not a secure ngle piece of hose from iirc.

If you use that blue washer fluid that can create a film that clogs the bottom outlet in the reservoir. It pretty easy to flush out with just a hose. I now only use distilled water in the reservoir. Cleans ok, and much less maintenance.

Uh, ... stay out of the Mountains? If you park in freezing temps overnight, plain water will freeze and crack the reservoir.

Well, there are plenty of places within an hour's drive of almost all of SoCal, where it can get below freezing overnight. Just don't let it slip your mind.

Yep, we have a cabin in the Eastside Sierras at 9,950 ft elevation. Water has been ok, but plays havoc with TPMS.

I am mostly surprised you have TPMS. Did you add those or were they a stock option?

I'm pretty sure that's temperature, not elevation. Unless you have a (relatively rare) "indirect" TPMS, the sensors measure absolute pressure in the tire (there is no connection to outside air). Since it's colder at your cabin, when you come out in the morning the absolute pressure in the tire is lower than it would be at home, and could be low enough to set off the sensor. If it was just elevation, your TPMS would signal as soon as you climbed above the magic altitude, even though your tires are warm.

I have the same issue (with my 2007 Suzuki). On the first day of ski season, the TPMS will signal in the morning. When I get home, I find that I'm down about 2-5psi. Not enough to trigger the TPMS in 50°F Bay Area, but in 10°F Tahoe it will. Once I air up to spec I'll be good for the rest of the season.
