Windshield trim removal

New to the forum and tried to do a search, but came up empty. How do you remove the trim around the front windshield? The previous owner painted it and the paint is coming off, so I might replace or repaint. Thanks for any help.

You will have to pry the trim out. Most likely gonna break clips that are attached to windshield surround with urethane windshield adhesive.
You would not like what you'll see under the trim the trim catches dirt, moisture, worst yet saltwater from sports equipment. all that cause rust.
I detest non-functional chrome and other details that cause trouble. I deleted mine. Search again for "windshield". Got something on my build thread.

Thanks for the reply. I had a funny feeling that would be the case. I will try to find your post about your windshield. Thanks again.
