Ok - I searched the web and called around to the dealers I found and seems nobody has any of the Downey 3.0L V6 headers in stock and they're saying late Jan / Feb timeframe for delivery. Looks like the thorley is a pipe dream and I've had bad dealings with NWOR so I'm not giving them any more of my money.... Heck Downey is shut down until the 3rd according to their message...

That said - anyone know of a place that has a set of headers in stock or anyone with a used set of headers? I'm tearing my engine down for a complete rebuild (have burnt valves) so I figured it's the best time to add a set of headers and need them in the next 2 weeks at the latest.

I'll probably cross-post this on the other toyota boards just in case someone knows otherwise..

WOW they're proud of them - called and they act like they're drop shipping (when pressed couldn't guarantee a date for shipment when I told them that Downey's voicemail said they're closed right now and won't open until the 3rd heck they didn't even know that Downey was closed right now so I've got to think they're just drop-shippers...)

 

NWOR, I'll talk to my dad I think he's got an extra set of their headers laying around maybe he'll sell em.

 

I guess I'd buy NWOR second hand - just wouldn't give them money directly (been semi-burned by them) - let me know what he says on them.

I don't know if they have them in stock. But, the cheapest place I've seen Downey headers is Central 4wd.

Called them and the guy said they had them in stock, he went off the phone and said he "laid his hands on them" - we'll see if they show up in 3-4 days... They didn't have the crossover in stock so guess I'll be fabbing up one of those.
