What part of "non-reusable part" do you not understand?

The ones in the junkyard are junk by default(having been used already).

All kinds of things you CAN do that aren't such a good idea like wearing the same underwear for a week.
Replacing non-reusable parts is smart as it is a cheap part to replace and easily accessible. Why go to all the trouble of repacking your wheel bearings, tearing the whole axle down and not replace the lock washer (star). It's absurd. But so is torquing your 54mm nuts with a chisel/screwdriver and a hammer but plenty of obliviots do that too.
Right. Once. Done.

I'm glad it's worked out for you so far, but I think you're asking for trouble. It's a 2 dollar part, if I remember right - why reuse it if you don't have to?
