I haven't bought a locker yet, because I'm not going to compromise and put one of those in a truck I drive on the road.

And if I was going to get an automatic locker it would be a detroit locker. Not a crappy lunchbox type.

I think every person would agree that if money was not the issue, they would not use an auto locker on a truck that sees street use. Why would you compromise driveability and burn through tires much quicker if you could have something better.

Speaking of Aussies, I heard (and this is just what I heard) they were better about that kind of thing. Designed differently or something. Hell, I don't know. If I had a wad to blow, I guess I'd get ARB's too. I know about those. Seem hard to beat.

What price is that deal? If you don't mind sharing. I'm looking at the same stuff. Remember, sharing is caring.

 

The price I got at my local shop was as follows:

Shocks $79 each
Steering Stabilizer $70
Springs $89 per side
T-Bars $170 for the set

It comes out to around $740 for the parts. They'll be putting the T-bars in for 2 hrs labor @ $75 per hour, so $150 for labor.

I'm going to put the shocks, stabilizer and probably the springs on myself.

So, I'm looking at around $900-$1000 with tax and all.

 

Hmm... that is a nice price on those leafs. Let me show you what I found, maybe it will help:

Bilstein HD shocks: $249 shipped
Bilstein 5100 shocks: $279 shipped
OME leafs: $93.36 each x2= $186.72 plus s&h maybe $240 total
Pro Comp stabilizer (unless you want other brand): $35 shipped
OME TBAR: $163 plus s&h

I don't know if you like some of the stuff included, but you can save some $ by getting the HD shocks, which I've heard are REALLY nice. I'm still debating between them and the 5100s. I'm not getting a Tbar either.

 

I'm getting the T-bars because the stock ones are kinda saggy with the bumper, and a winch will only exacerbate the condition. Those are pretty good prices, but it will just be easier for me to have them order all the stuff.

dont waste 150 on tbars. they are easier than shocks.
