What is this light?
I just bought a 95 4runner SR5/5-speed. There is a little red light that does not come on, next to the clutch bypass switch, just above the dashboard dimmer rotary switch. Manual; does not show it, but it is OEM. ??

More then likely after market alarm .

Meaning parts might still be there which might cause some interesting things down the road

Yup, after-market. Does it cause you trouble? If you ave time, yes good to trace the wire.
