What brake parts do I need?

Long story short I need to stop by brakes from squeeking, and my GF is house sitting for someone who is parts manager for Toyota. So my lovely GF is willing to accept payment in parts for me.
I dont really know what else I should replace besides my shoes? I have had to drive around with them squeeling like mad for the last 2 months since I was in school and had no money what so ever..so I was wondering if maybe I potentially damaged some other components? So maybe rotors and drums?? Anything else I should consider?

If they were squealing and you ran them like that for a while, I'd at least check if I can get the rotors and drums turned, but you may have to change them out all together. Depending on the mileage it may also be a good idea to replace the wheel cylinders in the rear, it's a real easy change, just make sure to bleed the system afterwards.

Oh yeah, make sure to buy a kit to replace all the springs and pins, I broke most of the pins taking them off last I did a brake job. Hope that helps!

i get mechenics prices at a local auto parts store i got calipers rotors and pads for like 152..cores on the calipers were 75 bucks but they only cost 90 something... i would get new pads and rotors so cuz if they been bad for a while they prolly have a nice rut marked in the rotor.

not hard to change just might have to pound the rotor out of the hub if its rusted together

Are you sure its not just brake dust build up? Remove the rear covers and get it all out. My breaks were squealing but after dumping out a crapload of dust from the rear drums...no problems....

Hmm, I should try that, I'm sure it's a dust fest in there. They were squealing at about 40%, but now they are to the point where it makes ears bleed, and it's damn embarrassing. Fronts are starting too.
