What am I missing???

Confused, what exactly am I missing? Here is the deal, I'm doing an auto to manual swap. As I've never really payed much attention to manuals, I know I am missing some basic stuff. Here is what I have.

Tranny, clutch kit (disc, pressure plate, release bearing, and pilot bearing), clutch fork, shifter, and slave cylinder.

Also, how the heck does the shifter stay seated? Am I supposed to remove that plate and slide the shifter under it?

As I can tell, I am missing a fork boot. Something on the splines on the shaft of the tranny for clutch operation. And a bracket on the side of the front of the tranny to support the slave.

Pics....

the shifter is supposed to have a locking ring on it that you press down and turn.

There is no such thing as a "slave cylinder support" it bolts straight to the bell housing.

Assuming you only have the throwout bearing, there is a bracket that the throwout bearing goes on, and two small clips that attach the clutch fork to the throwout bearing bracket.

Guess I'll have to look for one. Don't think it'll work to well without one...i'll be driving down i-5 and I'll beat you with my shifter

You make it sound so obvious I see that now (the two holes on the far right side!)

There ya go! Thats what I was thinking. I saw it on my 2wd and fiddled with it trying to get it to go back on...and I noticed this one didn't have it. Where can I find one?

Thanks DC! Your the man!

No, truck was stolen and vin's were removed. The truck was given a "new" vin by the dmv and then riveted to the door jam.

It was hard enough explaining the "sleeve" on the output shaft on the transmission was.

I bet the first thing they ask for is a vin
