Water Pump

Alright, I'll be putting a new radiator in my '91 22re and I'll be changing the belts over TG weekend. I had a coolant leak and couldn't determine where it was coming from so I purchased a water pump to replace it just in case. Well I found the leak, fixed it, and now I don't need the pump. If I return it, I have to pay a 10% restocking fee. I've got 175k on my truck, to my knowledge, it hasn't been changed yet. Is it worth fixing if it doesn't need fix'n? Thanks for the help!

Hang on to it until you need it. If it ain't broke don't fix it....as the saying goes.

For the cost of one of those pumps (cheap) it's not worth the risk of an overheat.. I've never seen one fail, but an overheat with an aluminum head can get expensive.
