w56 Transmission Bellhousing Bolts Missing
Hi i have a 87 toyota 4x4 extra cab sr5 , my w56 tranny went out in it after a few months of owning it , so over the weekend I put a used g52 5 speed in it and a put a new clutch , resurfaced the fly wheel, new rear main and new slave cylinder in it. Problem I have come into is I am missing bolts to connect bellhousing to engine. I have 4 17mm bolts installed and the starter bolts all in. But I am missing the others, any help on this would be great. Sorry if this has already been covered , i searched but could not find the info.

I am not sure where you would use a M17 bolt??
I know the ones in mine are M12 and M10 both having a pitch of 1.25
The M10 are going to be around 50mm long
May be some one has some out and knows the length for sure.

you can find all the diagrams, part numbers, etc for any toyota car/truck/suv. slow shipping (about a week+) but they seem to have all the parts i need.
i actually just ordered all the bolts you need for my tranny swap, haha
(no, i don't work for them. i just know that the diagrams helped me the most when ordering)

i think that i ended up with something like a grade 10.9, that took a 19mm socket, lol... monster bolt.

He uses the lock washers when he can (never known him to take a trip to the store for a lost washer tho)
When we replaced his tranny a year or two ago he only had one bolt left on each side of the cross member they had rattled out at some point.
