why not just replace the birfs with chromos... and save the deposit check and the other good stock birf as a trail fix.. while your installing the chromo brifs do the mar-tack and call it a day?

Thats what I'd do ... did

dirty 30's is a reasonable deal, they work, and are a decent price... why not? longs... well they are the best but not everybody needs em. i think Vance will be fine with them and if they aren't... well its not like the money will never come by again for longs right? so i say give em i try!

Also, Bobby will rebuild his birfs for you for $50 once you've beaten them properly over the years. I don't know if TG does the same or not.

And that's for 30 spline Longs. I was wondering why everyone kept talking about how expensive Longs were. I mean $80 is $80 but ?

For a 27 spline chromoly birf their 202 bucks a piece where the tg 27 spline chromoly is 69 bucks. Maybe were just all confused?

The idea is to upgrade to 30 spline. Which is why drew and I are talking about sets that include the axles and the birfs. This is one of those things where yeah, you could just fix the part that broke, OR you could completely upgrade the whole thing. Just something you might kick yourself for later but I understand the budget!

Also, I may be confused on this, but if you slap chromo birfs in there and leave the stock axle shafts, you've now made the axles the weak link.
