Turn signal issues

My driver side front turn signal has been out for awhile now. I've checked the bulb, fuses, and changed the socket. Any ideas on what to do next? Arrow indicators on the dash work fine and the rear driver side is working too.

You have an electrical problem. You can change parts one after the other until you're bankrupt, but you'll be no closer to the answer until you use your multimeter.

W-B should go to ground. G-B to switched 12v. What do you have? Once you know, you'll know which wire to trace out.

You need to take a meter and see if you are getting power to the bulb. If you don't know how to use a meter, a test light would help to see if you are at least getting power to the bulb. Without more information, really not much suggestions we could make.

Sell the truck and get one that the turn signals work.

Broken wire or poor connection .

Did you install a brand new socket ??

Wired correct ??

The correct socket for the application ?? using the correct bulb??

I have seen some try and use a tail light /brake socket

Multimeter set for DC Volts The black lead goes to a goods ground the first test Red probe to the socket center .

Depending on the Meter if the voltage is present the meter will ramp up to the system voltage as the flasher opens and closes.

See what you get if the voltage is normal around 12.5 VDC plus or minus
If vyou have voltage now test for a good ground on the socket .

You can use the battery as your Positive voltage source

see what you ??

I venture corroded socket or broken wires at the connector

Do you hear anything, smell anything, see anything when you turn turn signals on?

REPLY TO ALL OF THE ABOVE AND WE'LL TALK.

Corroded socket was all it was. Now just need a muffler, and I'll actually be able to pass an inspection haha.

Glad you were able to find the issue. I was having the same problem, but mine ended up being a broken wire about 2 feet from the connector. Just figured I'd make a note in case anyone runs into the same issue.
