torsion bars

i replaced my upper a arms and now my torsion bar is rubbing on the floorboard on the passenger side , could it have gotten bent somehow ? could i have over torqued it. i just cant see whats going on does anyone have any feedback

No, more likely you have the adjuster in the wrong position. Iirc, the splines on the front of the bar are keyed and can only go into the yoke on the control arm in one position but the rear adjuster part can go on the splines in any position. On stock bars there are paint marks to help you align them. That’s all I remember from swapping mine last year. Others can probably explain it better.
