tailgate window motor

Hey guys, my tailgate window motor finally died the other day. I ordered a used motor from Collier's successor, Jenny. I hooked it up and nothing happened. Just so everyone is aware, I already had my window motor wired directly to my own toggle marine switch earlier this year because the window started to "act up". Now I don't know what is wrong. I have tested both motors (when out of the truck) and the original while still in the truck by hooking the motor directly to a battery. I know this procedure should work since I have done this before, but neither motor will do anything. Its getting pretty darn cold here in Indiana so any help would be appreciated.

Call Deathcougar at nix99. Just got a motor and regulator from him, worked flawlessly. He knows a lot about old Toyotas. But speak to him, not someone else.

I did this yesterday. Drive gear on the old unit was chewed up, pulled the driver's side window motor - direct bolt in, although it looks like the poles are reversed between the two versions. I may have the plug out by 180 degrees, but to go up, I use the down switch and vice versa. Easy fix either way and my window is once again moving.
