I don't know if this is good advice or not... But I used rtv sealant (the red stuff is what I used) mating my tcase to tranny. Its held up well so far.

 

 

Couldn't hurt to pack those exposed bearings before you slap it in either

 

Thats exactly what i had planned but there was a paper gasket on the tcase side then rtv sealant against tranny.didnt wanna chance it.

 

Everthing look okay here?

 

This snow actually set a record for most snow in February 7". Southern tennessee was closed today😆

 

Ok; here's what I have left over from my rf1a build.

 

This is the gasket I was referring to. And I will keep those parts in mind when I do tear into mine. Thanks for all the advise Yale have given me. Gotta work tomorrow so probably won't get much done. I'll take more pics when I start the front end. Probably won't test the tcase until after all is done, unless it drys up here. Don't wanna drag all that water in the shop.

Hey Rattlewagon , stealer ship order the wrong gasket so I just rtv it. And couldn't be happier. I never new the tcase was suppose to be that quiet thanks for tall input and devise now hopefully on to the frontend.
