Nice!! I just got some myself and fixed them up and just finished putting some 6.5 inch speakers in them 20 mins ago. I do have to agree, super fun to drive with them on!

They look great. I've been considering making a set but I've been wonder how these effect gas milage, I doubt they help your aerodynamics. My 4runner doesn't get good mileage as it is. Has anyone noticed a change in gas mileage?

ALSO

I have been wanting to lift up the back end for a while .. so today I built some rear shackles .. nothing to drastic , just something to level out the truck .

also wanted them to be greasable .. so here what I got ....

started drilling the bolts ..

vertical

and horizontal

then taped

and added the grease nipple

made some sleeves , and main brackets .. and got ready to install ..

started by removing the old shackles and bushings

installed the shackles and measured for the center support ..

got them all welded up , and zinc'd

installed

brought it up about an 1 1/2" .. just where I wanted it ..

Adopt me please. Can those be made to sell to others? I'd buy a pair if everything was included.
You get the details done right, good job.

PAINT!! haha seriously, get some spray cans. May not look professional but it will all be one color.

Here are my custom 1/2 doors and the paint job I did on them (still need to finish the doors):

you knw how many time I have heard that ? .. lots ...

Thing is .. this is my shop truck .. If I paint it ..she will look like all the other toys around here . With NO paint , people ask questions .. kind of advertizing ..

once I get my Trekker built .. then maybe .. but not now.

sorry .. havent been able to post for a bit .. ??? http error ..

anyway ..

yes , they work awesome , i'm very happy .. it's amazing what a little grease will do .. my replacement springs & bushings were only 7 years old but yet siezed , and no movement .. now they move .. well worth it ..

they are avaliable from USA suppliers .. but i'm a "builder" so I made my own .
