Starting problems :(

Hi Everyone,

I have a 90 pickup 4x4 v6, I can not get it to start!

It turns over, after about 10 turn overs, i smell fuel, so it is getting fuel...

Someone told me it could be a relay?? What emse should i check?

Thanks

Are you getting fire? Has the truck been sitting? You know it isn't the starter,or safety switches because it's turning your engine over, you know your getting fuel(you can smell it) Well, the next step is are you getting a spark to make that fuel explode?

I have been driving it daily, and I am pretty sure it is getting sparks because when it turns over, at a point or two, itit sounds like it is catching than it dies....
Also I just had a remote starter installed, so im wondering if that could be the case.

That sounds like the culprit. I would check all my batter connections and cable connections to the starter.

The remote start installers hosed it.

Yeah if it was working fine before, that would be my first guess, try giving them a call, and go from there,be nice and explain the situation, normally the company will/can help you out.
