Well still having starting issue and have narrowed down the wire coming out of the distributor cap into the wiring harness. I can move the wire then will start. It looks like a wire may be a short. What is the best way to find the short since it may be somewhere in the wiring harness? Thanks in advance

I would look at the plug where it plugs into the distributor.

That is where wires tend to break if not there look at any places where the wire harness might be rubbing or damaged .

It seems you have a open circuit unless you need to replace a fuse every time.

Best way is strip the wiring harness and inspect. Our senses, sight, touch, smell, common are the best diagnostic tool. Use them.
