I could keep hunting through Google images, but is probably more productive to just ask for help..
On the 1994 2wd pickup (22re) I have lost my starter solenoid wire. I'm pretty sure it's part of the engine harness, can someone follow thiers up to the break out from a loom snap a picture and tell me what else branches out at that point please..
I should have tracked this down while it was on the engine hoist.
Black wire, semi oval plug.. Had it plugged into the knock sensor, now I have to track down that black wire with a white strip and a very similar plug shape.
On the first gen this solenoid wire is its own run from near the middle of the engine harness, not so on the 2nd gen on those it breaks out very near its connection point.
The wire memory failed me here in its relaxed position it pointed right at the knock sensor, is a large wire, with the right shape.. I just didn't notice the lack of a marking stripe assumed it was dirty or facing the other way.
That and many other wires have no business residing in tight, inhospitable area under the manifold that is difficult to access/service. Only injector wires absolutely have to be there. I think Toyota did it to minimize assembly cost, material and time.
If I were to work on that wire, I'd run it directly from starter relay, along inner fender and directly down to the start3r sol3noid.
