Can anyone tell me if the speedometer drive unit from an 87 A340F transmission will fit into a 92 R150F transmission? I did a transmission swap and the old automatic was for a cable drive speedometer and the 5 speed tranny has an electronic speedometer drive unit. Can I swap out the one from the automatic and put it in the 5 speed or can someone give me some advice on what I need to do to hook up a speedometer?

 

I would pick up a donor cluster with the electronic speedometer and fit the electronic guts into my housing. I just learned a hard lesson about how fragile the needle can be though. Be careful....
