Sometimes it will not start

Help,
I have a 90 SR5 that about every 6 months it will not start (no spark). I will let it sit for a while and try it again a few times and it will start and be good for another few months. This last time it happened while it was running at a stop light. I had it towed home and same as above it is running OK for now. I have replaced the coil, igniter, cap and rotor. Need help with this one.
Thanks
Bill

What are the symptoms of "will not start"? Does the starter turn over or not? If not, see:

If the start cranks the engine over but it does not start, see:

I looked at the fuses before but I did not check them. I will pull them out and check them out. I think if it was a fuse it would happen all the time. My problem happens after a few months from the last no start cycle.
Thx

maybe the pickup coil in the distributor is bad, or getting moisture in it
