Ok, so I went to clean the MAF and it was damn near spotless. Proceeded to clean the throttle body, it was a little dirty but not bad by any means so I sprayed some throttle body cleaner in it and now when I go to start it, it won't start. It just turns and turns and turns. Also, before I forget to mention, in my attempt to retrieve the MAF I took the 2 little screws out and slowly and gently pulled on the harness but I saw wires so I immediately put it back together. Is it possible I damaged them and that's why it won't start?
This is the MAF correct?

Why did you mess with the screws for? There is a square clip on the harness connector that you pry and get the plug off. Now you will have to check that you didn't disconnect any wires when you pulled the connector off. Maf is vital for that truck to run.

make sure your getting spark before go any farther...
and make sure you are getting fuel as well
a sluggish enging could be a result of a clogged filter..
stay with the basic's
make sure there is gas in the tank and the gauge works..

I messed with the screws because I didn't know any better. The pictures in my manual didn't show nor did it say not to. So, I guess I learned the hard way. I'm going to put the ohm tester on it tomorrow and go from there.

Price:$218.99
Core*Core value is the used part that manufacturers use for rebuilding. AutoZone charges the core value to customers because manufacturers include it in their prices. When you return your core to AutoZone, we'll refund your core charge.: $35.00
Total:$253.99

wow yeah that MAF is a sealed unit where those electronics are. also i've found that 9 times out of 10 the truck won't start because i over looked something when putting it back together, take 3 looks at everything you could have touched while you were in there.

you did something to the maf; maybe the cable is just a bit unplugged. So plug it back in snug; either that , or you pulled a wire. If you can snip and solder, and you didn't do too much damage, you should be able to put it back together.
