Seats for taller fellas
I know the seats issue has been covered many time - I've read about 15 different threads. I was checking out Civic seats and ended up getting a pair of 4Runner SR5 buckets to drop into my 1993 extended cab truck.
They are much more comfortable, but I've noticed that they don't slide as far back as the 60/40 bench I had. Also, the headrest pushes at the top of my shoulders and can't go any higher. I'm 6'2" and they seem to be a bit small for me.
Any suggestions on seats for taller folks? My biggest issue is lower back support. A newer model bucket would be great as then I wouldn't have to deal with worn out cushions. Thanks.

Im 6'0 and I swapped SR5 seats into my 4runner ( mine came with base model buckets ) and I fit pretty well in my truck, I know a buddy of mine that is 6'5 and when he gets in my truck he has to lean the passneger seat all the way back lol
Try Del sol or MR2 seats... they sit really low and slide back far.

I didn't mind the bench too much, but it any back support had been drained out of it after 200k miles.
The head clearance isn't too much of an issue. I'm just looking for a bucket that doesn't take too much modifying and is comfortable on long drives (8+ hours).

In my old 95 I had problems with knee room too. I'm 6"7" (with my shoes on I remounted the drivers seat. I put the front bolt holes where the rear holes are and redrilled the back holes. At "all the way back" it was WAY too far back! My 5'1" wife could never drive it again unless she had a big pillow behind her back. Also cut down on the kids leg room just a hair

I used seats out of a subaru legacy wagon. They are pretty sweet they have built in heigth adjustment lumbar support big range of adjustment front to beack and HEATED... Pretty easy to mount the front mounts line up just the inside one needs a 1/2 spacer to get to set square.
