rubbery foam stuff

im tearing up my carpet right now and im running into a couple of things.

1. what is everyone using to remove that foam rubber stuff underneath the carpeting?

2. how do i disconnect the rear passenger heater core from the floor? or is that only possible from underneath?

The rubbery foam stuff...I was able to just rub most of it off. The majority of mine came off with the carpet. The rest i just kinda rubbed off with my thumb and palm.

As for the heater I'm not real sure, I left it connected and worked around it. I didn't want to mess with it because the lines are starting to seep a bit already and I didn't want to replace them yet.

Brake Kleen always works well to get stuff like that off. Just spray it on let it soak in and then you should be able to scrape it off.
