Question Removable Top Bolts?

I've got an '88 4runner and I took the top off for summer and somehow lost the bolts. I have checked the local juckyards and no one has an old 4runner. Any advice on finding new ones? Are they bolts that I might find in a hardware store? Measurements?

I live in Wisconsin and its getting a little chilly for the no top thing.

do to a dealer ship and buy one, then go to a large autoparts store, like napa and they should be able to match the bolt with their stock of fastners.

actually 12mm heads ..

bolts are sized 8mm X 1.25 X 30mm and should be avaliable at any hardware store .

There is one bolt on the drivers side , second from rear , that actuates a swithch for the rear door .. make sure it connects , or your rear window wont work .

.

X2. There are 14 (fourteen) bolts in the top. But they are 12 (twelve) mm.
12mm also does the doors.

The bolts are M8-1.25x35mm as bolts are sized by the diameter of the bolt shaft...not the head (or size socket you use to remove them).

You do use a 12mm socket to remove the M8-1.25x35mm bolts.
