I've got a shop here in Richmond where I do my work, we could have done it for $2000.00 or around easy. Here is my 93 4runner we did.Had some serious work done. Fiber glassed all the rust from inside out, then sinle staged the paint.17,000 miles since total rebuild.https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...runner-236404/

If the truck is in F,burg its done and set for sale.

Quote: 380K... freakin awesome,... see, this makes me really mad and upset about my situation.

My P/U was a baby with a lot o' miles to go. Nice to see a V6 slo with dat kinda mileage tho.

Gonna try and keep the suspense up on my purchase....
I actually got up to 385k before it died on me, needless to say, I was a little upset, but impressed. You definitely could have gone a long time without having to buy another vehicle.

just don't kill us all with the suspense.

My guess is either a 3rd gen 4runner, or a 95+ tacoma.

A Toyota Solara convertible. A mid-life crisis thing due to losing your truck?

As I saw in the pictures above, this is not the case of total loss, you just need to replace some of the parts of your truck and it will be all fine. When it comes to insurance if you are totally entitled to the kind of insurance needed in this case then you are going to get a deserving amount for whatever the loss you suffered. all you need to do is act smartly and behave professionally in front of Loss Adjuster.

After purchasing the 06 T4R, I haven't looked back.... I hemmed and hauled with the adjuster ( I acted very professionally) for over 2 months with this case with rental vehicle time running out. They offered me $5500 and I was able to pull my Alpine HU and deck out along with some other things of worth that 'I had installed'. It would've been nice to have pulled the Toyota brush bar off of it too as it was worth $500. Estimated repairs for the suspension, steering components, bed, door, and cab repair, with stripes was running around $7500-$8000 ( as I was told by my reputable body shop).

The issue is, I couldn't find another vehicle in the same condition for that amount of money,...period. The truck was babied. I never drove it hard except to creep into a field to pickup a harvested deer.

Oh,... BTW, I highly recommend the 03-09 T4R SE or Limited. Great vehicle in the V6 version. Most would probably go with the V8, but I live in the city and do not tow anything.

xlaxx
