to rebuild my 22r

i have recently baught a 88 toyota pick up and it has a spun bearing and a blown head gasket. roughly how much would u guys think it would run me to rebuild it.

There is a particular seller on Ebay that deals primarily in Toyota kits, and reasonably priced. The ? expense would be the machine work. You will not know until the engine is torn down and they can determine what needs to be done before the new parts.

Last one I rebuilt cost me about $600 total. Still cheaper than a crate short block.
