rearwindow works than stops...

Hey all. I've looked at the threads on the rear window problem but can't find my problem. What happens is the window will stop working. When I pull it all apart it will work again with no problems for a few days to a month then it will stop working again. I can hear the relay clicking and none of the window locks are on. It does notwork from the console or the key. When I reassembled it all the contacts were cleaned and I greased everything up. Any ideas?

well if the relay is clicking my suggestion is that the motor is bad. I mean do you hear the motor making an attempt at all? Did you grease the guides?

I had similar problem and it turned out to be the rear window wiper not always returning to off position found out by accident one day if not that run 12 volts to motor to find out if it is the motor if it works if it works it most likely the relay or the switch that tells it that the gate is shut.

Fixed the problem by wiring it directly to a switch and the battery, thanks for your ideas
