Rear window switch???

Just as a heads-up to anybody working on these windows/switches:who has no wiring diagrams::::
None of the switches apply battery voltage to the window motor.
They only act on the relays in the window control module behind the driver side rear panel.
Not wise to put power to any switch wires.

And for the OP he is just needs to get the rear window down so he can pull the tailgate from a parts 4runner.

interesting. I will need to check mine (94) . I could have sworn one wire was hot when I wired an interior switch in the back. It works with out the ignition turned on, similar to the rear window key switch.

These are the same terminals that the rear key switch acts on. The module has power even when Ign key is off. Grounding either of those pins moves the window, at least on a '95

I wired an interior switch into my '95 using an extra console switch I had. Center went to ground and up to pin 9 on the control module-- down to pin 17.

Guys,
We're overthinking this. LOL
O.P. does not want to fix nor troubleshoot the window. It is a parts truck.
He just wants to roll it down, so yes, battery power directly to window motor is all he needs to do.
