Lightbulb rear tire rub on frame!! 2nd gen 4runner

rear has 4ish in lift (got truck lifted) with pro comp shocks?

i think i just need wheel spacers, but if u look at pics there is shill 4in of shock/bumpstop travel left. does any one els have this problem.

added 1/4wheel spacer shims, that helped.....KINDA....

looks pretty common to me, especially with that B/S on your rims.

might as well remove that mudflap now,the tire will do it for you...

New rims, skinnier tires and/or wheel spacers.

Looks good

Sort of hijacking this thread for a related question. My 33's rub just a bit on the bottom of the inside front fenders. Already took off the mudflaps.

Rather than let the rubbing wear more room for them, I'd like to ease that section of the inner fender a bit. Anybody got any tricks/tips for that? My normal method would be a planishing head in an air chisel to "delicately" pound that stuff out of the way.

Not much you can do about it unless you change the wheels.

Wheel spacers will band aid it but not fix the issue. 2" spacers will more than likely work, you probably don't even need that much. Really, I would just get some new (used wheels) and be done with it.

I have 37x12.50 with 2" bs wheels and I don't even come close to rubbing the frame.
