is it posible for me to use shackle from marlin or trail gear on my stock rear suspension? I understand my factory shackle measures (upper=18mm)(lower=14) but the lower also has a metal sleeve from what i under stand so it is 18mm with out sleeve ...so can I use one of there shackles and bushings with out any mods

As long as its for your model truck, yeah you run shackles from anyone that makes em for your rig. Lift shackles are made to go directly in place of your stock shackles with your stock springs

Well, Marlin makes them specially for the 89-95 pickups, so I don't see why they wouldn't fit.

remember you cant goo too tal, cause the the pinion angle will be to great, and you will have to block down the front hangars.
2" is enough

right, it will bring it up, but you dont want to go too high. plus there will be lots of roll, and axle wrap.

I see I dont plan on going to extreme with the shackle length just enough to level the rear to match the front

marlin sells the offset shackles. they have a little metal thing that makes it work (you'll see when you get it in the mail) The max length marlin (and most other places) sell normally around 3.5" longer than stock, if i remember right, which will give you about 1.75" of lift

I have the Marlin shackles on my 90 truck. I had to cut the outer metal sleeve of the bushing out of the rear spring eye for the new bushings to fit.

I have the 6.5 inch long shackle which give 1.5 inches of lift over stock.

I would recommend them.
